While some cities have links with some ancient stories of Indian mythology. These old cities have always offered some unique knowledge and leanings to tourist and travelers as well. Let us list some of the amazing old cities of India who have inhabitants since ages.

1) Varanasi

Varanasi, also popular by the name Kashi. It is one of the oldest cities in the world and is said to have been inhabited continuously for longest time. It has attracted millions of local and international travelers every year.

Varanasi will offer you to experience spiritual connections and colourful ambience. Lord Budha has got his takshila in Kashi. 2) Pushkar

Pushkar is one of the most visited places every year among the other Hindu religious destinations. It is the home for only Brahma Temple in the entire world.

3) Nashik       

Nashik has its stories linked with the Ramayana. It is situated in Maharastra and known as one of the important Hindu pilgrimages places owing to the hosting of Kumbh Mela.

4) Ayodhya

5) Hampi

6) Ujjain

7) Madurai
