Just space exploration, not capitalism: Science fiction predicts the progress of human technology, from television to submarines and from robots to spacecraft. SpaceX launched the astronauts into space on 30 May 2020. US President Donald Trump also visited the spacecraft launch.
After the formation of the US Space Force and the pressure to militarize space, Trump stated his thought to join SpaceX founder Elon Musk, saying that “We will have the best weapons and we will land on Mars soon”. Space billionaires leader Elon Musk has little to do with the welfare of many people.
The business practices of Musk and Bezos are well known and clearly demonstrated. Musk tried to argue that it was necessary until authorities forced Tesla to shut down its Fremont. It was reestablished in the degradation of health regulations.
On the other hand, Jeff Bezos has a story of violating Amazon employees. Amazon industry is widely known for a higher damage rate than normal and the company struggles with the union, and stories of workers’ conditions are controversial.
The worldviews of these billionaires started to emerge long before the empires they established. These astronauts have made billions from positive achievements by utilizing their energy and making resources accessible.
When reviewing their concepts for the future in space, it is clear that they want to stretch certain provisions to the universe, not to challenge them in favor of space research but for the benefit of all.
Musk and Bezos are primary operators of space and colonization by their individual corporations SpaceX and Blue Origin. While their visions are slightly different, Jeff Bezos has the vision to build space colonies in orbit, while Musk has the vision to colonize Mars.
Musk is intended to make people more versatile, making decisions of a space colonial menace. These frames obey the concerns of these billionaires and the colonization of space appears to be an uncertain and undeniable choice.
This neglects their personal weakness and the purpose of capitalism is seeking to propagate it. But these billionaires do not hide who they serve with their expectations. Musk implemented a lot of statistics for the cost to mars but they were never cheap.
Conclusion: Do not serve space capitalists
Former US presidents used this space to boost American power and authority but acknowledged that capitalism was on the brink of disruption. This is not so, because the outcomes of initial capitalism come at the expense of the poor to improve a small elite. This does not imply that space research should be terminated immediately.
By learning more about the solar system and the universe beyond it, the collective interest of mankind is growing, but the purpose of such missions is to promote global cooperation and gain scientific knowledge, not nationalism. Before space research can be helpful to humanity, it is essential to improve existing social connections without extending it to the stars as part of a new immigration project.
